Hopefully you have a bit of thread sticking out....if not you are back to guess the centre drilling, Screw the hexagonal bit onto it, Slot in the brass insert for the smallest drill and drill down the centre of the stud. Take the insert and drill out three or four times to clean out the swarf. Swop to the next size up of drill and guide and go easy. The biggest drills are 4.9mm run one of these in gently by eye following the hole and get the taps out. There are thin medium and bottoming taps. Run them in one after another. Turn it in a bit then back it off half a turn to break the swarf off etc etc. Slow gentle drilling. Should be OK
