110cc inese engines

Having now done a thousand miles on Diesel daves or wingys old cub with a 110cc engine.I find it can plug from very low down in top gear and it can cruise at a more relaxed pace than the 90cc three speeder.However it does not go any faster at all.
It goes up hill without needing to change gear so quickly.
Is this a general finding I have seen it written before.
