Hi All...
So plan to clean my 1987 C90 carb tomorrow - and I am clueless! I am looking for some basic tips of what a first timer may screw up.
Since my first post here I order a workshop manual as suggested. First one was cancelled by the seller and second one had a massive delivery lead time - and now this seems to have gone awol too!
Anyway, not keen to wait any longer.
Disconnect the throttle cable.
Looks like loosening and removing the O-clamp to the air filter next.
Turn the petrol tap to off and remove the 4 screws to remove that.
Then two more screws to remove the carb from the elbow joint tube into the engine.
How hard can it be?
Got new battery, oil, jerry can of fresh petrol, spark plug and spark plug socket as recommended so expecting to hear some noise and see some smoke tomorrow!
Any comments appreciated
Thanks
