hi dd, when you mention afterburner it reminds me of a local lad who in the days of diesel car infancy was trying tell me his mate had fitted an afterburner to his range rover. when i asked " does it have a rocket engine ready for some santa pod burnups" he got quite cross , turns out , it was an intercooler.
