Small niggly innova problem advice needed

Hi all, have been happily riding my 2004 Innova for nearly a month now and have had great fun doing so, however there is a niggly problemm which can be a right pain when maneuvering the bike around where full right hand lock is required. When the bike is at standstill with the bars straight it idle's as it should, but when you turn it full right hand down it starts to rev its nuts off which can catch you out when its in gear, any advice on what course of action is required? Your advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance.
