I have had a good chat on the phone this afternoon with Simon where we have gone over what we know with regard to the events leading up to the demise of the old message board at Cub90.co.uk and the honest truth is that as far as either of us are able to establish we don't know what caused the disappearance of the boards contents, Simon strongly refutes accusations that he removed Fuzz's admin rights in the days prior and I have no reason to disbelieve him and similarly I have no reason to disbelieve that Simon Did NOT take down the board and its contents.
At the end of the day Simon with his good friend pioneered that message board many years ago for like minded Cub enthusiasts, indeed he still retains a love of all things Cub90 and owns one to this day. It is from those beginnings that many of us having found the forum there have enjoyed it as both a knowlege base and a place from where good friendships have flourished.
Simon has kindly locked down the old board as I asked and provided a clear link from the main portal at Cub90.co.uk leading here and I thank him for this. He has also kindly offered the use of that portal for us to perhaps modify and add images etc, this is something for Ric to deal with in future.
So to round up we don't know for sure exacly what has gone off and to be quite honest I don't really care because we are all united both here and at C90Club.co.uk so please I ask that we put an and to further accusations aimed toward Simon or indeed any one else with regard to recent events and enjoy what we have right here at Cubchat and at C90Club and more importantly.... carry on Cubbin'
