The bike has been prepped, luggage packed and all ready to load onto Ruby. My main issue was my health but that seems fine so all ready to go. But what I didn't factor into the equation was Hub. I got up this morning and he was still in bed. Usually he's up around 5.30am and this was at 7.30am. Something is wrong. His whole right side is swollen and painful and he can't get about, (a recurring problem). So I'm going to have to stay at home and play nursemaid. I am as sick as a parrot about this. I have been planning and looking forward to this for over 12 months, deciding not to visit my sister in the States this year but instead to couple this with a visit to the Isle of Wight.
