There's a bimble / camping weekend at Matlock, Derbyshire next month 15/16 September.
It's about 2 hours ride from Bratfud. There will be others riding down from W. Yorks if you want some riding company.

PS.. I use cheap supermarket mineral oil. 
Whatever you choose to use, the main thing is to change it often.. every 1000 miles or so is good.
