Inappropriate or SPAM?

getting my cub ready for the new forrest so took it for a fast ride about 5 miles at 50ish then changed the oil i could not hold my hand on the engine case it was to hot same with the sump plug had to wear gloves ,the oil was 10 ,,,40 mineral wilco cheapo ,is this normal or do you think the oil had past its best mind you it has only done 600 miles,may put in a better grade for the motor way run as it will get hot,do you who do long distance on motor ways crack on or stop every hour or so to let the bike cool down,i never do more than 25 miles in one go,in my running about,so would like to be guided by youi more exsperienced riders
