3 possible cures

1. Leave it all in place & run a thick bead of silicone around the existing tube

2. Replace the tube with a piece of tube as used on Diesels which I can supply.

3. Source a new pipe , which I have had no luck with at the mo.....

Personally , I would go for the 1st option.
