Hi there,

I'm thinking about getting a cub 90, but I'm wonder if I could pick your collective brains on insurance.

Cost is the essence of the matter, so I wonder if anyone has some tips on where to find a good deal. I'm 29 with a full bike licence, but I'd like to insure my girlfriend (19, provisional) too.

I tried Carole Nash to test the waters. With just me, I get about 130 quid tpft, which is actually slightly more than I pay for my fully-comp car insurance. If I add the good lady, it looks more like 400 and something.

Does anyone know an insurer that is friendly to cubs or younger riders, or any other tips to bring the cost down?
