The 'distant Malham Cove' pic is an old quarry I think.
The 'Malham' pic is Settle.

It's not far from being above Foulridge Tunnel on the Leeds Liverpool canal.. The reservoirs there all supply the canal. Foulridge is the canal's summit level.. Downhill both directions from there.
