My car is playing up Dpf filter blocks and brings engine management light on, and it has gone into limp mode once. Local garage says they can switch off the Dpf element in the ecu, so I cut out the ceramic filter worth approx £800 weld it up and drop it with them, who tell me after plugging the computer in that they are unable to remap the car and charge me £50 for doing nothing. I find another garage a good hour away, who having had their top computer programmer look at it states no probes easy job,I take a day off today drop car off, receive a call within an hr all done, pay the £200 chuffed to bits, no Dpf to worry bout 20bhp more and min 15% better fuel economy, happy days driving car home a twit, you thought I was going to say twat but he was a twit in a porche boxer hugging the fast lane at 70, I followed him for best part of 4 miles, in the end I flashed him and pointed for him to move over he laughed in the mirror and floored it, me equipped with my additional 20bhp floored it as well, after prob 1mile of being a foot from his back bumper he shizzened out and finally pulled over, I continued with a smirk on my face still chuffed to bits.
Took my little boy to akido tonight what comes on check particle filter warning on the dash, aghhhhh nightmare, so it's wine o clock here
