Beautiful sunny day on Wednesday. Riding down a country lane about twenty miles from home and a familiar wobble started. I looked at it and thought "what a lovely day for a puncture... if this had happened on one of my many miles in foul weather over winter it would have been a real pain". As it was I knew I had a good tube wrapped in a poly bag in the sidepanel and two good levers and a pump in the topbox. I had also pulled up next to a stile which made an excellent workbench. I took my jacket off and enjoyed the sunshine for the half hour it took to fix. Dirty hands were a good excuse to call into the next pub to wash them and have a pint. Another good days bimble. Regards. Bob
