Put this together yesterday. It almost works perfectly, ie it comes on and stays on but doesn't go off after two minutes yet. Think that I may have fried one of the transistors or the big diode. Will bung new ones in, they are only 35p. Bought a little siren off ebay, its impossible to stay in the room with it without fingers in ears. Think that it may all fit into the left handlebar plastic. The circuit is from this excellent site.

The site describes how you can install this with another relay connecting it to the ignition. Wire the coil supply of the relay to the ignition switch and the supply to the alarm across the normally closed contacts. Ignition off = alarm on. Ignition on = alarm off. Very simple but very clever. Regards. Bob.
