The exhaust on my 2003 Innova recently snapped all round at the header. I was 50 miles away and sounded like a Harley all way home.
Considered welding it but mate said difficult.
Got a Honda OE from Lings @ £57 and I fitted it today along with new gasket of course. Sounds lovely now.
The broken exhaust is in good condition apart from snap. Do they make them of thinner metal there to keep trade up?
Anyway I feel really satisfied to have got it done cheaply (relative to other bikes that is) and that I was able to DIY.
Now if only we had some decent weather?
