Well Jonathan, I’ve had my address for 12 months now & travelled about 5300miles without even a puncture. In comparison with the 2 Innovas which I had owned before the main problem has been lack of leg protection & the fact that unlike the Innova I don’t know anybody else who owns one. I bought it with only 700 miles on the clock in “as new” condition very cheap so I’m sure that I won’t loose any money but I don’t think that it would sell for anything like the same price as an Innova in the same condition which is a shame as the build quality is just as good.
If you are interested here are copies of my previous posting on the sumject:-
I found some reasons for buying an Address
Recently I carried out the 2500 mile service on the Address & I found it was a little bit easier than the Inj. Innova.
1. I didn’t have to remove any panels because there is a bigger gap between the leg shields on the Suzi which gave better access.
2. The drain plug is located on the side of the sump rather than underneath so it is easier to get at.
3. The oil filler is countersunk so the filler hole forms a slight funnel which diverts oil spills into the engine.
4. Instead of a dip stick there is a sight glass which eliminates the problem of deciding whether to screw the dipstick in or not the measure the correct oil level.
5. The sparking plug & air filter are a little easier to access because of the reasons above. However the little condensation collector is a bit more difficult to get at than on the Innova as it is at the back of the filter.
6. Handbook is about 20% of the size on the Innova handbook as it is in English only (easier to carry in the locker).
I suppose that the main thing for me is. “Is the bike is reliable as my old Innova”. I suppose that only time will tell.
Honda Innova vs. Suzuki Address
Just found this:-

The bike is still going OK Richie. I put her on the road in June with 735 miles on the clock & she’s now done 3400. She runs very well is averaging about 140 mpg which is about the same as my old Inj. Innova.
I carried out the 2500 mile service myself so I suppose I have invalidated the 2 year warranty, but I felt confident that I won’t have any problems so it was worth a gamble.
New they were considerably cheaper than the Innova & I understand that they are not being imported anymore I assume that parts should be available, so if you could find one it I could certainly recommend it & should be a cheap buy.

Suzuki Address Fuel Consumption & Leg Shields
I’ve had my Suzuki Address on the road for nearly a month now so I thought that you may find this interesting.
The bike did 125 miles on a tank of fuel without running dry & she averaged 136.9 mpg over 476 miles (don’t forget that she has a 4.3 litre tank). Although the book says that the running period is 1000 miles. I suppose that the engine won’t be fully loosened up for a couple of thousand miles yet so there is a chance of improvement. (I bought with 735 miles on the clock & it now stands at 1543).
