Griz, I've already used heat shrink tubing (bought off ebay) on Ruby to tidy the wires from the rear indicator mounts, up and under the seat, then the two pairs also went into one tube, along the top of the frame (double sided sticky tape) towards the rear light then up to the underside of my topbox, which now have the indicators on the back.
You can see a bit here, pre-shrinking and not tucked in.

And James, yes, a hairdryer does work.
