In the picture you can see the curved lid that pops over the canister. It really is neat. I should think 2 or 3 canisters would be plenty for a weekend away. I really like it as a compact and neat biker stove.
My main concern would be getting new canisters when away for longer trips which is why I am thinking Trangia or similar. I have seen one on Ebay 5 piece stove which includes a frying pan and 2 pots and all pack away into one 600g 21 x 10cm package.
I like the sound of a flip down number plate stove though, very James Bond
