I also fitted my new Lifan 110 in my 6v C90 ("JJ")yesterday,but as I was replacing another Lifan,I havn't bothered changing the clutch cover,althought a slight "tune" of the footrests,using a lump hammer,was required,to clear it.I also had to grind out some webs on the flywheel cover to clear my 18 tooth sprocket.I had decided that I would run this engine in the brutal way,or as I call it "the foxtrot method",ie slow.slow,quick,quick,slow.The weather today was fantastic so I decided to try it out with a quick ride out.This turned out to be a 100 mile bimble.Well I was pleased with the performance of the old Lifan,but this new one is much better.It pulls much better,and cleaner throughout the rev-range,including the topend.The gearbox seems much more positive,although it doesn't like changing gear when at a standstill.I've played around with the clutch adjustment but can't make it any better.
