I use Tom Tom as well but the iPhone version does not have itinerary planning so you can't upload a route from something like TYRE.

I found this awkward when we shared the Matlock routes and needed to use the old Tom Tom Rider instead.

The iPhone version's latest update does have a new routing option called 'Winding Roads' and this gives you 3 levels of 'Windy-ness'. You do find new roads with it, even local ones you would never have tried otherwise.
