Dan, check out some of the Chinese Android phones on eBay. I have been running them for several years now started off with a Fuksoo 4 and currently a Doogee N10. Some great spec phones for the money. Ric got me into them and of course runs Chinese too.

I'd advise your eBay search something like "Smartphone octa core" and see what options and prices are.
