Is the idle too low? However.
Take off the throttle twist grip, clean it all up and apply a very light coating of grease on the twist grip and handle bar where it rotates. Lubricate the throttle cable well, with thin oil (Wilko bicycle oil is good).
Make sure the throttle cable has a free run without any tight turns etc. Put a bit of oil on the throttle slide. Unscrew the top to do this. When you have done all this, about an hour and a halfs work, then set the idle and mixture again.
If you do all this, the difference it makes is remarkable. Everything is so much smoother and will very possibly eliminate your problem
