hi all.
this little cub is as genuine as you can find. 3 owners all over 40, the last owner was a little old lady who rode it a few times then decided she didn't like it so stuck it at the back of her garage covered up for 24 years!!!!
All it took was a new plug and cap, a drop of petrol, a couple of kicks and it fired up.
There isn't any rot in the usual places just a little surface rust on forks and swing arms.
I recon all that it needs to get an mot is a pair of tyres and a battery.
As its the 6 volt electrics is there anything I should look out for?
The lights do seem a little dim but haven't wd40'd any switch gear yet or is this normal?
Does anyone know where you can get some paint (blue) as I want to repaint any surface rust but try to keep it looking as original as posible but I am on a tight budget.
Any advise, pointers etc will be greatly recieved.
