Some time ago I asked if you could fit an injection motor into a carb bike. After much head scratching, and trial and error I can now say Yes you can BUT... you have to fit the earlier carb head, (inlet manifold different bolt spacing). The later barrel also has a sensor hole in the cam chain tunnel that needs blanking. Finally the alternator stator has more wires on the injection motor plug and the rotor is also different and both need replacing with the earlier parts. The bike is now up and running fine.
