What was most instrumental, was Ben switching the location. We had no control over people camping at the Duke William. The only sanction we had for anti social behaviour was to boot them from the forum and FB page. And I was never keen to do that TBH.
The new location is a privately hired facility. And we can now ask anyone being anti social to sling their hook. It hasn't been necessary so far, but it does mean we can ask people to be more thoughtful of others.
The other thing is over the past ten years, the value of the bikes have gone up, it's not so easy for a chav to turn up on their £100 wrecker.
There are still plenty of young faces thankfully, but most have a fair bit of time and money invested in their rides, and this is reflected in the maturity they show.
The C90 'scene' is pretty good right now. Just a pity we can't get the numbers the scooter clubs enjoy.
