Was at the Honda Centre the other day, buying bits and bobs and had a quick look at the new Cub 125 on display. A salesman came along, I asked him if he had much interest in the new Cubs, cagily he said they had some interest, prompted further he revealed they had sold only the one. He put this down to the weather but said there had been a drop in sales on all the lower cc motorcycles. He mentioned the popularity of the new Electric bikes (EAPCs) that they require no tax or insurance no need for a CBT test or an MOT etc for many (particularly the young) this looked a preferred option.
