Sounds like she just wants something to moan about for the sake of it. A real shame you can't get it out of sight more, it's just so vulnerable out there on the road side. I assume you have a decent lock on it anyway. If only people would leave others stuff alone, but I know that's asking too much of the world in which we live.
Any chance of putting it out of the ay at a neighbours at all?
