Had exactly the same problem on Sykes when we raced the Plop Enduro at Anglesey. I swear i tightened it, but confess I didn't fit a split pin. I thought my brother inlaw was exagerating about the poor handling when he came in, because he is used to a 1000cc state of the art tarts handbag.....but he was right, it was blooming terrible, and sure enough the front wheel nut was finger tight. So since then I've always checked my nuts for doing any riding lol
