If you've recently had the digital switch-over down there then thats probably whats happened, we had it around November time up here and two of our digi set top boxes were consigned to the bin as a result, apparantly they changed the frequency the signal was transmitted on from narrow-band to broad-band UHF and many older set top boxes and digi TV's are not compatable.
