The 6vC90 is not a great engine. Prone to seizure and poor charging system. You need the battery to run that bike.
Though Radar will disagree with me and many others, as he has had his for many years and completed many miles on it. I would have a 6vC70 over the 6vc90 any day. I currently have a CM91, which is basically the same as a 6vC90. I have put a 12v motor in it. This bike came to me with the top end missing, probably down to seizure.
