Is there an air leak somewhere? Check that the top of the carburettor is screwed tight and that the screws holding the carb to the inlet stub are tight too. See if the inlet stub to the cylinder head screws are tight and do the checks that Radar has suggested. It seems odd that the revs subside when the bike is lent over. Maybe something amiss with the float?
