Ha Ha , nice one fuzz. your quite right, its sad but true. nowerdays I,ve cut back to the very basics in my rickman hamper. 
on our spain trip last year I managed to squeeze every thing in to my top box inc my clothes, that was until we had to take an xtra 30L of fuel
