Reason I was thinking was for simpler insurance.
I was getting some insurance quotes (price comparison sites) and as soon as I mentioned the engine size increase the numbers got silly......Given that I'm an old codger, with a full bike licence, Â£170 is just nuts. I did try a broker yesterday and got better price, (around Â£100).

Does that sound reasonable?
