nice day for what? Well a couple of days off work/kids at school/no list of errands from the wife...so off on the cub taking back lanes (which are filthy hence the shiny suzy staying in garage!) to the classic bike shop, where although I never actually spend any money, a cup of tea/coffee is always available. Amongst the really old stuff a nice honda cd175 and old honda cd90? or summet? Bit pricey at £1800 odd each but its a shop i spose! So from here I'm heading to find some derelict follys/gatehouse and stuff with my camera(my other hobby) at a nearby large country estate. No entry signs all over the place(just how I like 'em) but also loads of groundsmen and such around the place so tootled off on the scooter to find another way in. Found a locked gated road and could see a very derelict gatehouse only 100yds away, not the one i was after but hey. No where out of site to hide the cub so left it by the gate and walked down to the ruin/a very nearby house and workmen (the whole estate is being renivated) meant only had a quick 10 min creep around to get some pics then slip away unoticed...Back on the cub and heading home but past an 'open to all traffic byway' sign, so take the trail because i can, a pleasant couple of non taxing miles slipping and slithering along at 15/20 mph and i pop out to tarmac and finally head for home, although spot a derelict farm and house but no where to hide cub so will be popping back on the bicyle for a nosey...Not a bad day out...
