Strength of Innova clutch's?

I have just printed off 'Geoff of Preston's' pictures of at least two Innova'a (or 'Waves'??) lugging sidecars of one sort or another in the Far East. It seems the clutch seems quite tough for such a puny motorcycle. Can anybody comment on the Innova clutch 'lugging along' a heavy load for such a small bike?
