If like me you use your bike daily and it lives outside, then you have probably got through a few covers, as they don't seem to last all that long. A while ago I was wandering around a garden centre and saw this, a greenhouse for £30. It has been absolutely brilliant. You don't have to worry about waiting for the exhaust to cool before fitting a cover, or waht to do with the cover whilst your out, or the wind partially removing it. The poles are 15mm dia, so ordinary pipe clips can be used to hold it down, or you can use the pegs supplied if you are on soft ground. I never close it, and the bike stays perfectly dry. It's even big enough for basic maintenance when it's raining. You can buy them on ebay, and replacement covers are only £10.
