You learn something new every day. I've always put the bike on it's centre stand when filling up in order to get the most in. Yesterday being hampered by the top box, pannier, ferret box over my shoulder and being gasping for a pee, I left it on its side stand. Is took at least as much petrol and I think more than usual. (12V Square) Year's of pointless lifting and heaving. Lovely day I'm off.
