Done a car. No problem. They never asked when getting insurance. I presume they get the information from dvla database.
There are so many Cat C vehicles now, that i think it makes no difference. Its cheaper for the insurance companies to right off a vehicle for minor damage than to pay the repair company.
Done the VIC check on the car. As it say's its just a identity check. No hassle at all.
