If I were you Alan, I would go and have a look at the remains and see what you think, it will be at a vehicle recovery contractors. Have you enquired about any recovery & storage fees that may be payable if you decide to have the remnants back?? it can be as much as £150 plus £20/day, this is normally taken care of by your insurance though.
