A Shocking Experience

I have spent a lot of money in the last few weeks, Hammerite paint to cover some rust, conti tyres and tubes and finally this evening my Fuzzshocks arrived by DHL. Within an hour I had them fitted to my 1987 C90G, a direct swap with the old ones except for a wee bit of self amalg round the bottom mount. Then it was off for a ride. Truly excellent. My old shocks were shocking in how they absorbed absolutely nothing, I would have been better using kitchen paper. For the first time since I got the bike I could go down a straight Edinburgh street in a straight line and not have to weave all over the road to find the smoothest route and I feel a lot more confident on the corners even though the tyres aren't 'scrubbed' yet.
Total spent on the bike since October last year £890 and that includes purchase, van hire and petrol, road tax, MOT and insurance. I am a happy chappy.
