Inappropriate or SPAM?

The rear light lense on my classic Lifan 125 is cracked in half. A new one is nearly Â£16(roughly twice the value of the bike)so I wondered if anyone has successfully glued one together and if so,what glue did they use? I suppose the old faithful Tigerseal would do it,but it would leave an unsightly black mark across the light unit and spoil the graceful lines of the bike.
