I'm on holiday this week :) . Been working on the bikes. The CD200 has been outside and under cover for five months. I ACF50'd everything before storage. The mot was due so I pulled the covers off. Charged it up a bit and it started 4th kick ^_^ . Everything was still working, no rust anywhere. Well any where new. Pumped up the tyres and took it for the MOT. It passed. Then I stripped down the VT500 front brakes again and fitted the missing anti rattle spring. Adjusted the tappets and bled the brakes. The brakes are much sharper now. Then finally I've replaced the Cub brake cable, I oiled it the previous night so the oil would run all the way through the cable.. Cleaned the drum out and deglazed it, stripped out the operating cam and greased it all up and fitted new EBC grooved brake shoes. Just off to get it MOT'd. I'll let you know how I got on and if the brakes are any better. I hope they are as I've ordered a set of the EBC shoes for the CD200.
