Some thieving scumbag smashed the side window of my garage last week, presumably in order to lift up the curtains and have a look at what's in there. No doubt they will be disappointed by what they saw, nevertheless I decided to improve the security a bit. Like Bogger I have an up-and-over door, so I bought one of these and installed it directly in front:

I've also re-purposed an old laptop as a Linux server running Zoneminder as the basis of a CCTV system... more on that only if anyone's interested
