I have a rough enough '94 c90 with 20,000 on it.
When I bought it a few years ago it had the habit of dropping from 3rd to 2nd without warning. This problem soon disappeared an I thought no more about it until now. It has just started happening again regularly.
This is usually after (like about 5-10 seconds) changing from 2nd to 3rd.
Obviously this is a bit dangerous as the revs are up in 3rd by then and it's like putting the brakes on.
Before I open it up has anyone experienced this before or have a possible solution/cause?
