ed march perchance? limits to the oil are when you try and start it from cold. i used a 0/40 or something, but to be honest 10w40 works fine if you preheat the engine with your stove. below -20, you'll need to preheat with just about any oil. mine started fine at -32c with no problem. trouble is that it may start, but starve the head of oil without you realising.
