I took a longish trip on the 'new' Majesty to Black County Petes place in Dudlaaaay, 170mls intotal. I'm well impressed with the performance. On the way back I was holding a steady 70mph all the way, with more to come. The only fly in the ointment, so to speak, was when I got to Petes and he asked me to have a listen at his new Innova engined Cub. Oi think moiy cranks nockin. F*** me I only came down for a natter and a brew 
. I had a listen and decided it was the timing chain and not the crank. He looked at me with those puppy dog (mass murderer 
)eyes, so I got some spanners out and started twiddling. Mainly we twiddled with the cam chain tentioner 
. Which once removed ended up in bits with a bloody great big clock spring affair refusing to go back into position. Any way an hour or so later it was refitted and manually adjusted and the engine was actually quiet 
. We put some engine flush in got it warm then changed the oil for some 5/40 fully synthetic. Jobs a good un 
. I think? we'll see how it runs over the next few weeks or so to see if the tinkering has cured it completely. If it's still a problem I definitely can't remember my way to Dudley, honest.
