My Cub of 1991 vintage is nearly at 45,000.
I replaced the barrel with one of "Cyrils" at about 35,000 & also fitted the later ball bearing cam head off a later motor.
Fitted new clutch plates & cleaned out the almost clean crankcase gauze filter.
Mains, big end are all standard & crankcases have never been apart.
Regular oil changes & no over revving help....
16t front sprocket also.
