The bike has been stood for 5 years without turning a wheel.
I've done the seized centrestand and a few crusty bits have been cleaned up. So it's time to get it running. I stuck a new battery in it, then pressed the button. Nothing. Not really surprising really.
So I kicked it over to see what happened. It immediately started!!
After checking the solenoid, I realised the switch wasn't operating. After cleaning that up, I realised the sidestand was down..... DOH. Works a treat, On 5 year old petrol too!!!
