They are all 2 speed, I know, I know; it sounds and feels like a 3 speed.........
It's basically 2 primary gears, epicyclic selector on the back of the clutch with an overrun clutch in the gearbox 'bit'.
It feels like a 3 speed because of the lock up that happens late in the cycle of top gear.
It will all become obvious when you take the clutch cover off to give the centrifuge a clean out.
